As a state-certified hiking and snowshoe guide, I professionally plan and lead mountain, hiking, and snowshoe tours throughout Upper Austria and beyond. My tours are aimed primarily at individuals, school groups, vacationers or tourists who are not only interested to discover the mountains, valleys, streams, rivers or other natural gems of Upper Austria, but are also interested in their history. And that so safely and stress-free as possible.
In addition to the nature experience, my tours also focus on exploring the folklore of Austria. This includes mountaineering-historical background on the development of regional hiking trails, mountain refuges or local memorial sites, as well as sharing regional legends and myths whose origins often go back to the Celtic tribes of the region. My tours are complemented by musical interludes and satirical short readings.
The tours take place mainly in the Prealps, the Ennstal Alps, the Haller Walls and the Dead Mountains. On request, custom tours for individuals or groups can also be arranged outside these regions throughout Austria.
